GRONI online

OK, so I've not taken a ton of time to play within this new site, but I've already found some good, some bad, and some ugly. Whatever, for those of us researching in Northern Ireland it offers some new opportunities. One of the features is the townland maps. Sadly they have not included the numbers associated from either Griffith's or Applotments [there may be copyright issues], BUT because maps are so critical to our research these will certainly help in placing the townlands in the larger context. If you would like to share your experience using this new website with me I'd love that!

Thanks to Chris Paton over at The British GENES Blog for this. http://britishgenes.blogspot.com/2014/03/groni-launches-online-civil-records.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+BritishGenesGenealogyNewsAndEvents+%28British+GENES+%28GEnealogy+News+and+EventS%29%29

Cheers,
Pat
